"Eden" is painting #1 in the Bloom Collection, is 32" in diameter and took an approximate 200+ hours to complete. Made of acrylic paint on MDF, comes signed (initials hidden within the design, full signature on the back) ready to hang and with a Certificate of Authenticity.

This piece was by far the most challenging, most technically difficult, but also the most rewarding I've ever taken on. I had a vision towards the end of last year, to create a patterned mandala using more organic, and realism-inspired florals. I had no idea how to see this vision come to life; only that I really wanted to.

I imagined that coming up with flowers that worked together within a geometric mandala design would be the biggest obstacle for me. As it turns out, I was very, very wrong.

The biggest challenge this piece presented was it's need for patience. The detail with which I completed each and every floral, took about 3X as long as a traditional piece of mine, spanning over the course of 4 months.

It has served as a reminder that growth doesn't happen on a timeline, and that the greatest transformations and most beautiful outcomes occur often through times of immense struggle, frustration and impatience.

What I love most about this piece visually is it's texture, depth and design complexity.  This piece is ideal for a collector looking for a truly unique and colourful piece to display in their home.
